The Dominican Summer League (DSL) is a Minor League Baseball league that operates in the Dominican Republic at the Rookie level, which is the lowest grade below Major League Baseball (MLB). The league was founded in 1985. Teams are owned and operated by MLB franchises.

The league's season typically begins in early June, with each team playing a 72-game schedule, and ends in mid-August. Since the demise of the Venezuelan Summer League after the 2015 season, it is the only Latin America-based rookie league. The start of the 2020 season was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the season being cancelled entirely on 30 June. The start of the 2021 season was delayed until 12 July, with the season ultimately concluding on 2 October with no postseason.

The Dominican Summer League (DSL) is a prominent professional baseball tournament held annually in the Dominican Republic. It serves as a vital developmental league for Major League Baseball (MLB) organizations, providing young, aspiring players with the opportunity to hone their skills in a competitive environment. The DSL features numerous teams affiliated with MLB clubs, showcasing emerging talent from the Caribbean, Latin America, and beyond. Known for its vibrant baseball culture, the league emphasizes player development, scouting, and fostering a passion for the game. The tournament typically runs during the summer months, offering fans an exciting showcase of future stars in a lively and energetic atmosphere.
